#1 BKFC 65: Women's flyweight title: Christine Ferea vs. Jade Masson-Wong
The Christine Ferea vs. Jade Masson-Wong prediction is fairly straightforward, as the defending women's flyweight champion should be favored to win. Ferea is as well-seasoned a bare-knuckle boxer as they come, having taken part in nine fights, of which she has won eight.
Moreover, the champion is currently at the helm of a six-fight win streak, including back-to-back wins over former UFC fighter Bec Rawlings. She also boasts serious stopping power, having TKO'd six of the 8 women she's beaten in the BKFC ring. Masson-Wong, by contrast, is less experienced.
She is 3-1 in the promotion and has already been TKO'd. While she has since authored a three-fight win streak, she is unlikely to have what it takes to dethrone Ferea, besides a 10-year age advantage. Look for Ferea to end BKFC 65 still as champion.
The Prediction: Christine Ferea via unanimous decision
#2 The rest of the BKFC 65 predictions
The co-main event bout features a lightweight clash between Jeremy Stephens, who once set the UFC featherweight division alight with brutal knockouts, and Bobby Taylor, a former MMA fighter in his own right. Both men are undefeated in BKFC, with identical 1-0 records. So, what separates them?
Stephens possesses crushing punching power and won his BKFC fight via third-round TKO, while Taylor fought to a unanimous decision. Additionally, Stephens has rarely been knocked out in 51 MMA fights due to his granite chin, whereas Taylor has been stopped a handful of times.
Most telling, however, is Taylor's 6-11 MMA record. While Stephens' 29-21-0 record isn't exactly impressive, he is still superior and should win at BKFC 65.
The Prediction: Jeremy Stephens via TKO
