BKFC 66: Howard Davis vs. James Brown: Live round-by-round updates 

Howard Davis vs. James Brown at lightweight will serve as the co-main event later this evening (Sept.14) at BKFC 66.

Davis (6-2-1) is currently ranked No.3 at featherweight and No.5 at lightweight in BKFC. Adding to 'HD's' merit is the fact that all of his bare-knuckle boxing wins have come via knockout. Furthermore, he is known to carry his power even into the later rounds and is a knockout threat throughout the fight.

Brown (3-0) is unbeaten so far in the BKFC. Two of his three wins in the promotion have come via stoppages, with the most recent fight ending in a third-round knockout win against Bovar Khanakov.

Despite being relatively green in bare-knuckle boxing, 'Get Down' has a wealth of experience in MMA, in which he holds a 10-5 record.

BKFC 66: Howard Davis vs. James Brown

Round 1

Brown is light on his feet as he stays on the outside trying to out-jab his opponent. Davis connects with a few powerful right hooks. Another big right-hand forces Brown to take a knee.

He recovers but gets immediately dropped again as the fight restarts. He recovers once more only for another flurry to send him down to the canvas once again. The referee decides he has seen enough and stops the fight. Davis is the victor.
