Conor McGregor and 50 Cent were among some of the more notable names amid a sea of enthusiastic commentators who were discussing the historic BKFC knockout from earlier this month. On Dec. 6 at BKFC 69, Justin Watson finished Cole Ferrell two seconds into their fight and the right hand heard around the world put Watson into the history books for the fastest KO in combat sports history.
Appearing on a recent episode of Bare Knuckle Bowker, Watson discussed the huge wave of attention that has come his way after scoring his first win in BKFC to a viral online ripple effect. When discussing rapper 50 Cent sharing an AI-altered version of his lightning-fast knockout to his Instagram page, Watson said:
"Yeah, man that was wild. That edit was actually done by just a random page and they made me a collaborator the night of the fight. So I was watching that thing go from out of the gate and it's gone crazy. It's got like 20 million views."
"But 50 [Cent] actually edited the AI video. So he put it to where you see the knockout happen first and then it comes into the edited version of it. But yeah, man, that's huge. Like I had text messages that morning like dude, go look at 50 Cent's page. Yeah, it was unbelievable."

Conor McGregor's enthusiasm for the historic KO
Conor McGregor is a partial owner of BKFC and he has shown great enthusiasm for the product in terms of discussing it on social media as well as indicating his excitement for it in person at live events.
The 36-year-old was in awe of the lighting quick finish and the former UFC champ champ spotlighted the two-second stoppage on his personal Instagram story earlier this month.
At the 1:15 mark of the embedded video interview above, Justin Watson discussed the feelings on getting this shout-out from McGregor when Watson said:
"It made me feel like I was about to get a big fat cheque when that was the only thing that he shared that night. There was two nasty knockouts that night that kind of got overshadowed where any other night I mean those would have been fantastic knockouts. One of them in the main event, 27 seconds."
"Keith [Richardson] sleeps somebody. Like that dude was stiff in 27 seconds but it just kind of got overshadowed by this one. Just because of the historic nature of it I guess. But yeah, man, I knew that I needed to get out there and prove a point. So the goal was to shoot for the fastest knockout record and it worked out perfectly this time."
'The Notorious' has showcased his enthusiasm for what Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship fighters do in a myriad of celebratory fashions and McGregor does not look to be settling down in this regard any time soon.
