Bo Nickal has been working on his ground-and-pound game ahead of his next UFC fight in the coming weeks. The unbeaten mixed martial artist clashes with Paul Craig on the main card of UFC 309. This intriguing crossroads fight at 185 pounds will go down on Nov. 16 from Madison Square Garden.
Nickal recently took to his Instagram account and posted a video featuring Izaak Michell holding a pad for Nickal. The session saw Michell absorb several punches on the pad while the acclaimed amateur wrestler rained down punches. The two got in work that saw the UFC middleweight work his punches from multiple guard positions.

Bo Nickal's Road to UFC 309
Bo Nickal is 6-0 overall as a professional mixed martial artist and he has a 100 percent finishing rate through his run in the sport so far. All but one of his fights have ended in the first round with his last fight being the only time he encroached beyond that opening frame.
The Colorado native won with strikes in a bit over 30 seconds for his debut into the sport at iKon FC 3. After a pair of first-round choke victories on the Contender Series circuit after that debut, Nickal would then punch his ticket to the main stage of UFC.
Nickal has performed on some notable, massive shows during his time with the company despite being in the fold for less than two years as far as his promotional tenure. He garnered wins at UFC 285, UFC 290, and UFC 300. These victories came against Jamie Pickett, Val Woodburn, as well as Cody Brundage, respectively.
The 28-year-old will now take on someone who was in the top 15 of the UFC middleweight rankings just earlier this year. Paul Craig represents the stiffest test of Nickal's MMA career so far. It is a contest that will inform the trajectories of both once the cage door gets shut behind them at the world's most famous arena.
