Bobby Green reacted to Conor McGregor calling out Jeremy Stephens for a bare-knuckle boxing fight.
On Saturday night, BKFC's KnuckleMania 5 ended with a highly-anticipated 165-pound bout between Stephens and fan favorite Eddie Alvarez. The entertaining battle ended prematurely due to Alvarez's corner throwing in the towel after round three.
Following his main event win, Stephens was joined in the ring by McGregor, who's a partial owner of BKFC. McGregor stole the spotlight by calling out Stephens for a fight:
"Who the f*ck is this guy? Let's make a date. Let's set a date. Who's going to stop me man to man? No one is going to stop me. David, make the date and let's do it. I'm down for the brawl. I'm down for the brawl."

The footage of McGregor's callout was re-posted on Instagram by MMA Fighting, BKFC, and Stephens. UFC lightweight Bobby Green had this to say in the comment section:
"Funny how time works"
Bobby Green referenced the intriguing history between Jeremy Stephens and Conor McGregor. In November 2016, Stephens and McGregor were featured at the UFC 205 press conference ahead of their respective bouts.
Stephens' "hardest hitting" claim, led to the following legendary response from McGregor: "Who the f*ck is that guy?" Over eight years later, McGregor now knows who Stephens is and even called him out for a fight.
Coincidentally, McGregor fought and defeated Eddie Alvarez, Stephens' recent BKFC opponent, in the UFC 205 main event.

Conor McGregor remains under contract with the UFC
Conor McGregor's callout of Jeremy Stephens was intriguing, but the matchup is unlikely to happen anytime soon. McGregor, who has two fights left on his UFC contract, would need approval from Dana White and other promotional officials to compete under the BKFC banner.
Earlier this month, McGregor was reportedly close to fighting Logan Paul in an exhibition boxing match in India. McGregor later revealed that the matchup was denied by the UFC, guaranteeing his next fight will be an MMA bout in the Octagon later this year.
