Many fans shared their reaction to the footage. @the_sag_dragon88 claimed that the bouncer is lucky to only have received a palm to the face:
"Bodyguard is lucky his hands are registered 😂 that’s why he only got a palm to the face"
@usope3ce believes the bouncer will press charges on Diaz:
"He's gonna press charges lol"
@dyl.pg suggested that the bouncer either didn't know the former UFC contender or was very brave:
"Bro either has NO CLUE who Nate is or has some balls cause he was really tryna fight 😭"
@optimistprime1911 was not impressed with Diaz attempting to fight civilians:
"Trying to get civilians to fight you when you're a professional is really lame it's like bro you know you can win just go bust your damn business"

Dustin Poirier claims he has accepted many fights against Nate Diaz
Nate Diaz last competed in mixed martial arts two years ago as he defeated Tony Ferguson via fourth-round submission in the main event of UFC 279. He was originally set to face Khamzat Chimaev, but the latter missed weight by seven and a half pounds, leading to three fights being reshuffled.
Dustin Poirier recently revealed that admist all of the chaos, he agreed to face Diaz at 170 pounds on less than 24 hours notice, claiming that he has accepted multiple fights against the former lightweight title challenger. Speaking to Ariel Helwani of The MMA Hour, 'The Diamond' stated:
"Dude, I even accepted a fight against him on 24 hours notice. I was going to fly to Vegas and weigh in the same day. The night of the Khamzat stuff. I don't think I've ever told this story before... My management, Hunter [Campbell] everybody from the UFC [was] reaching out saying, 'hey, he's not going to make weight, can you make 170?'"
He continued:
"I'm FaceTiming with the Nevada State Athletic Commission stepping on the scale so I can show them I can make weight safely. I'm like 176. I'm just going to be 170 the same day so I was going to fly out the next day. I started cutting weight and everything. I've accepted so many fights against Nate. He can say what he wants, but the UFC knows the truth."
