“Boracay is the best island in the world” - Chingiz Allazov fondly recalls his vacation in paradise

Count Belarusian kickboxer Chingiz Allazov in as the latest captivated fan of Boracay island in the Philippines.

‘Chinga’ recently visited the island paradise south of Manila to have some relaxation before he takes on Superbon Singha Mawynn for the featherweight kickboxing world title this week and came away impressed with what the place had to offer.

Boracay is an island located in the province of Aklan in the Visayas region known for its white sand beaches, warm hospitable people, great food, and party atmosphere.

These are the same qualities that stood out for Chingiz Allazov during his stay just as he was preparing for what could be his biggest fight so far in ONE Championship against Superbon.

He told the promotion:

“Maybe I see Superbon in the jungle and kill him. I kill everybody. This is just my style. You know, I stayed in the Philippines for one month. I stayed in the Philippine islands, not Manila -- island. Boracay is the best island in the world. Yes. It's very clean with many tourists, but it has a good atmosphere and you know, I like good food, clean food. And after I come to Thailand, the same island. Thailand has the same jungle style.”

Chingiz Allazov is currently in the home stretch of his preparations for his featherweight kickboxing world title fight against reigning titleholder Superbon at ONE Fight Night 6 on January 13.

The No.1 contender in the division, Chingiz Allazov is looking to build on the momentum he gained from three impressive victories at the ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix that earned him a title shot. He has said he likes his chances and has prepared well for Superbon, the ONE featherweight kickboxing king since 2021.

Chingiz Allazov believes Superbon will avoid trading with him

No.1 featherweight kickboxing contender Chingiz Allazov is confident that he can take the title away from reigning champion Superbon Singha Mawynn and believes the Thai fighter will avoid trading with him when they face off.

In breaking down his opponent for the headlining fight at ONE Fight Night 6 on January 13, ‘Chinga’ said he expects Superbon's game plan to circle around kicks and that the champion knows that punching is right up his alley and will try to avoid going that route.

He told ONE Championship:

"He doesn’t like punching. He doesn’t like real fights, you know? He has this clever game plan. He has kicks, kicks, kicks, and after that, maybe he would like the fight. Maybe you should talk to him. Chingiz said Superbon doesn’t fight. He doesn’t like a boxing fight. He doesn’t like a power fight."

Chingiz Allazov earned a world title shot after topping the ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix. He is out to take it further and solidify his standing in ONE Championship by claiming the world title.
