Fight fans were recently sent into a frenzy after MMA Guru downplayed Jon Jones' chances against Francis Ngannou and Tom Aspinall in the cage. Given Jones' resume and legacy, many lashed out at the famous MMA personality on social media.

In a recent X post, MMA Guru shared a video compilation of Stipe Miocic fighting Jones at UFC 309 last month and claimed that Ngannou or Aspinall could finish 'Bones' in the opening round in a potential clash. He wrote:

"Both Aspinall AND Ngannou finish him in one round, I won't accept any other argument. He's a frame merchant with no ability outside of a flashy move against fat old men when they get tired. Good chin though, but Aspinall and Ngannou ruin good chins forever."

Fans soon flocked to the post's comments section to express their thoughts on the matter, with many dismissing MMA Guru's take.

Francis Ngannou on a potential Jon Jones MMA fight in the future

It appears Francis Ngannou is over Jon Jones and isn't betting money on that fight happening anytime soon. The former UFC heavyweight champion recently shared his thoughts on potentially fighting 'Bones' sometime down the line, and it appears he's done calling for the fight.

During a recent interview with Radio Rahim for Seconds Out, Ngannou gave his two cents on the matter and pointed out that he's been calling out Jones for the past four years. He said:

"It's been four years that I've been singing. I'm confused that people keep asking me this question. Like, it's been four years... That's not my problem. I don't care about it anymore. If it happens, yes. If it doesn't, f**k it."
