A legendary boxer who once knocked out Mike Tyson believes Anthony Joshua committed one fatal mistake against Daniel Dubois, which led to him getting viciously knocked out.

Former undisputed champion Lennox Lewis knows a thing or two about facing power punchers. When he faced 'Iron Mike', one of the scariest punchers in the sport's history, the Brit managed to turn the tables and KO him in the eighth round.

During a TNT Sports broadcast following the Wembley clash between 'AJ' and Dubois, 'The Lion' stated that Joshua was not defensively mindful during the fight. Lewis believes that the former unified heavyweight champion leaving his chin up during the bout was what caused him to get his lights shut out:

"'AJ' did come out even with his chin up a little bit, and I was like uhh, you need to put that chin down, because, against a right-handed boxer where he's been throwing right hands and knocking out people all the time, that's just opening the door for him by keeping your chin up. So I know Daniel Dubois was looking at him and saying, 'Okay there is that chin for me, boom, let me throw that right hand."

Lewis' assessment seems spot on, especially considering AJ was floored thrice in the fight before ultimately being knocked out in the fifth round with a counter right-hand to the chin.

Conor McGregor says Anthony Joshua can "comeback"

Conor McGregor believes Anthony Joshua can make a comeback in the heavyweight division, despite facing one of the worst defeats of his career against Daniel Dubois this past weekend.

When the Irishman was quizzed by The Stomping Ground about whether he subscribed to the public sentiment that 'AJ' should walk away from the sport, 'The Notorious' passionately campaigned for Joshua, saying:

"'AJ' is number one... he is a legend forever. For sure he is [going to come back]. He had him [Dubois], he smacked him back, he stood his ground and smacked him back, and then he went forward and got caught. It's only boxing, you get caught, you catch someone. Of course, he can comeback for sure."
