Paddy Pimblett is not ruling out a move to the boxing circuit for a suitable payday. Pimblett is one of the most popular fighters from the UK and commands a massive fan following in the island nation.

Pimblett is set to take on veteran fighter Bobby Green at the UFC 304 pay-per-view event, which will be the last fight on his current UFC contract. While he has been hailed as a valuable asset for the UFC, particularly in Europe, the 29-year-old is keeping his options open after the contract ends. In a recent interview with MMA Junkie, Pimblett said:

"I wouldn't want to go to a different organization. The UFC is the cream of the crop. When you [tell] people that [you] do MMA, they go, 'What's that?' People don't event know what MMA is lad. They know what the UFC is. You never know. Some of these stupid YouTubers who are boxing could end up offering me million to fight one of them. So we'll see what happens."

Paddy Pimblett names his preferred opponent if he fights in the UFC later this year

Paddy Pimblett defeated lightweight legend Tony Ferguson by unanimous decision in his last fight at UFC 296, which marked the biggest win of his career. When asked if he would prefer to compete again in 2024 after a potential victory against another veteran fighter like Bobby Green, Pimblett said in the aforementioned interview:

"If I fight again his year, I am going to want to fight someone else. I'm going to want to fight someone higher up in the rankings. Me and [Renato] Moicano had a little back and forth. So I'd love to fight Moicano. I think it wil be absolutely hilarious. If I can in a season of The Ultimate Fighter with him, then I think that'd be one of the best seasons they've ever done." Pimblett and Moicano were engaged in a social media feud a while back. After his UFC 300 triumph over Jalin Turner, Moicano called Pimblett out for a fight in Manchester. While Pimblett verbally agreed to sign the contract, the fight did not materialize.
