Boxing tonight (November 30, 2024): What are the fights lined up?

Tonight's boxing schedule has just one card to offer, but it won't be lacking in entertainment. Matchroom Boxing and DAZN collaborate on an event taking place at BP pulse LIVE in Birmingham, West Midlands, England, at 2 PM E.T. (Eastern Time) / 11 AM P.T. (Pacific Time) for viewers in the United States.

However, for fans on British soil, the start time is 7 PM G.M.T. (Greenwich Mean Time). The main event ring walks, meanwhile, are expected to take place at around 5:50 PM E.T. / 2:50 PM P.T. / 10:50 PM G.M.T., although the times are subject to change depending on how the card transpires.

The headliner pits Sunny Edwards against Galal Yafai in a 12 three-minute round bout for the vacant WBC interim flyweight title fight. It is a classic case of a more seasoned veteran locking horns with an unbeaten prospect. Edwards is 21-1, having only ever lost to Jesse Rodriguez.

Yafai, however, is undefeated at 8-0. Nevertheless, he will be lacking in experience, as Edwards is a former IBF flyweight champion with four title defenses to his name. Elsewhere on the card, Conah Walker puts his 13-3-1 record on the line against Lewis Ritson's 23-4 run of form.

The pair clash over ten three-minute rounds at welterweight. In more championship action, the 21-3-1 Kieron Conway faces the 19-4-1 Ryan Kelly for vacant Commonwealth middleweight gold in a 12 three-minute round bout. There's also a lightweight bout between Cameron Vuong and Gavin Gwynne.

Vuong is undefeated at 6-0, while Gwynne is far more experienced at 17-3-1. He will look to use his boxing savvy to emerge victorious in their ten three-minute, round encounter. Callum Smith also has a fight scheduled, pitting his 29-2 record against the unremarkable Carlos Galvan's 20-14-2.

The pair square off at light heavyweight in an eight three-round bout in the final matchup of the main card.

What about the Matchroom Boxing's prelims?

On the preliminary card, a third championship boxing match sees the 11-0 Troy Jones defend his English light heavyweight belt against the 9-2 Michael Stephenson. In a lower weight class, undefeated prospect Hamza Uddin looks to improve his 3-0 record against the 7-5 Benn Norman flyweight.

They meet over eight three-minute rounds. There's also Aaron Bowen (3-0) vs. James Todd (4-3-2) at middleweight over six three-minute rounds. Lastly, there's Ibraheem Sulaimaan, whose 6-0 record vastly differs from his opponent, Marvin Solo, who is a disappointing 24-20.

They're scheduled for a six three-minute round super featherweight fight.
