Max Holloway and Arnold Allen will headline UFC Kansas City, which will take place in Kansas City, Missouri, on April 15. The much-awaited card will mark the UFC's return to the city after six years.
The event promises to showcase some of the most exciting battles in the world of mixed martial arts, with a lineup of fights that includes Edson Barboza vs. Billy Quarantillo in the featherweight division, Azamat Murzakanov vs. Dustin Jacoby in the light heavyweight category, Pedro Munhoz vs. Chris Gutierrez at bantamweight, and Bill Algeo vs. TJ Brown in a featherweight bout.
The preliminary fights will feature a women's strawweight match between Gillian Robertson and Piera Rodriguez, a heavyweight showdown between Martin Buday and Jake Collier, and a flyweight contest between Brandon Royval and Matheus Nicolau.
While the card boasts some of the best matchups, many MMA fans, including journalist Marcel Dorff, believe that the flyweight bout between Brandon Royval and Matheus Nicolau, currently slated for the middle of the prelims, deserves a place on the main card.

Many fans believe that the two fighters hold considerable stature at 125 pounds, and appear bemused by the matchup's placement on the card.
Sharing the fight card on social media, Dorff wrote:
"Well, let's see if y'all can do the same with Royval/Nicolau as what you guys did with Maia/O'Neill. I really like to think the fans pushed the UFC to change it."

Arnold Allen shares his take on Max Holloway ahead of their clash at UFC Kansas City
Arnold Allen, the upcoming opponent of Max Holloway, previewed their highly-anticipated clash at UFC Kansas City in a recent interview on Morning Kombat.
Set to take place on April 15, the fight is expected to be the toughest test of Allen's career to date. Holloway is widely considered to be one of the most exciting fighters in the UFC, having earned a formidable reputation over the years.
However, he has taken significant damage in many of his previous battles, leading Allen to speculate on the impact of the cumulative damage on their upcoming clash.
During the interview, Allen stated:
"He [Max Holloway] is great. His mileage is going to catch up. It doesn't matter how old you are. If you have 20 fights, when every fight is a back-and-forth, 50-50 war... Even when he's been very dominant, he's taken a lot of shots. The miles have got to add up."
