As per BRAVE CF President Mohammed Shahid, MMA is going to be the most lucrative investment opportunity in sports.
Speaking in Bahrain during BRAVE International Combat Week 2022, Shahid noted that his team is working towards changing the MMA industry from an event business to a sports business.
Shahid told Sportskeeda:
“One individual, one country or one nation cannot control the sport. If there is someone doing that, then the sport has not been shown justice because the sport is controlled now. We need to open the doors to the whole world. Give opportunities to athletes around the world, give opportunities to media around the world, gyms around the world. We need to create the ecosystem I know that if we start in India, Middle East, and several other countries, a structure that is connected to the Global ecosystem, it is going to change the world”

BRAVE CF has been vocal about bringing change to MMA and creating a global ecosystem that can thrive on its own. They have been working closely with the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) to develop amateur talent as well.
Speaking further, Shahid added that the association of BRAVE CF with IMMAF is similar to someone investing in Bitcoin when it is at a valuation of 1 Dollar. Shahid added:
“Mixed martial arts for me is going to be the most lucrative investment opportunity. And it is not coming from an MMA lover. This comes from someone that has invested in thirteen different sports. What we have done with IMMAF is we have invested in Bitcoin when it was 1 dollar. That’s what we have done today and the world will come and invest when it is 40 or 50 thousand dollars but that time will come.”

IMMAF is currently working towards attaining Olympic status for Mixed Martial Arts. The federation has been making major strides and became a WADA signatory back in December.
'The Hawk' feels that getting into the Olympics doesn't need to be a "make or break" situation for MMA. He said:
“We come from India where we have the biggest sport in the world, the strongest federations in the world. One of the richest and highest valued leagues in the world and ICC is not in the Olympics. So that is where I come from. But do you we want MMA to be in IOC? 100 per cent. We want to be recognized by the International Olympic Committee, they are the biggest organization in the world for sports and we want MMA to be in the Olympics and IMMAF is working really hard for that.”
BRAVE International Combat Week is currently on-going in Bahrain and features the inaugural edition of MMA Super Cup and BRAVE CF 57.
