Alex Caceres, aka 'Bruce Leeroy', has dropped out of his fight against Nate Landwehr at UFC Fight Night: Vera vs. Sandhagen.
Caceres was set to fight on the main card of the UFC event at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas. 'Bruce Leeroy' has been on an impressive winning streak barring his loss to Sodiq Yusuff in March last year. He won his last fight in an impressive manner with a combination of a head kick followed by punches. He has now pulled out of his March 25 fight for undisclosed reasons.
Nate Landwehr's original opponent will still fight on the card and is set to take on Austin Lingo. The fight between Alex Caceres and Landwer promised to have fireworks with both fighters having great striking skills and knockout power. 'Bruce Leeroy' is very unpredictable inside the ring and often catches his opponents off guard.

Alex Caceres talks about being one of the only vegan fighters in the UFC
Alex Caceres is one of the only vegan athletes in the UFC. The American is trying to show people that the traditional notions of having to eat meat to compete in sports are not true. In a recent podcast, he spoke about how it feels to be one of the only vegan fighters, saying:
"I guess I do take a little bit of pride in the fact that I'm able to show that you don't need to follow the status quo to do something that is considered to be one of the most masculine sports on earth. And you don't have to follow a so-called masculine diet and I love proving people wrong....Especially when my opponents try to comment on that."
Alex Caceres promotes veganism and loves to prove people wrong, especially his opponents who believe his diet makes him weaker.
