Recent reports indicate that ESPN will once again increase UFC pay-per-view (PPV) prices. The revised rates will become effective beginning with UFC 283.
Adam Stern of Sports Business Journal was the first to reveal the most recent update. The price of UFC pay-per-views on ESPN+ will increase by $5, from $74.99 to $79.99. UFC 283 is anticipated to be the first event that will reflect the new price increase. Stern took to Twitter to provide the latest update:
"@UFC PPVs on @ESPNPlus will increase in price from $74.99 this year to $79.99 next year, starting with #UFC283 in January, per @Disney. Disney says the move reflects "the value of ESPN+ and the popularity and quality of UFC events," and that it doesnt impact ESPN+ sub price."

Dana White reveals UFC's international plans for 2023 besides pay-per-view events
The UFC finished another prosperous year of sellout events that produced stunning upsets, sensational knockouts, astounding submissions, and unforgettable moments inside the octagon.
The UFC intends to recreate its success in 2022 and push the envelope further with international events held in uncharted territories.
While the Apex Facility in Las Vegas has hosted the majority of UFC Fight Night events, UFC president Dana White intends to extend the excitement to as many places as possible through smaller events.
UFC 283, scheduled for January 21, 2023, at the Jeunesse Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, will be the first pay-per-view event of the promotion's 2023 calendar year.
Speaking about the promotion's plans for 2023 in an interview with Brett Okamoto of ESPN MMA, Dana White said:
"We need to start traveling around and do what we did to build this business..... And to go into places we haven't been [like] Africa... Lot of places we haven't been in a while. I'm excited to get back to South Korea, I'm excited to get into Australia, get back to Canada."
