BREAKING: Gervonta Davis' next fight announced on same card as David Benavidez - Date, opponent, venue, and everything else we know so far

Undefeated champions Gervonta Davis and David Benavidez will headline a star-studded Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) pay-per-view (PPV) event streamed live exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.

The action-packed night is scheduled for June 15 in Las Vegas.

Taking to their official X handle, Premier Boxing Champions posted:

"🚨 Gervonta "Tank" Davis and David ‘The Monster’ Benavidez return to the ring June 15 on PBC PPV on Prime Video. 🚨"

The highly anticipated main event sees the return of lightweight champion Gervonta Davis after a hiatus of one year. The Baltimore native, known for his devastating knockout power (27 KOs in 29 wins), will defend his WBA lightweight title against the undefeated Frank Martin. The 'Tank's last outing was a thrilling victory over Ryan Garcia in a blockbuster PPV showdown in April 2023.

Meanwhile, Martin has been dominant in recent fights, including a clear-cut victory over Michel Rivera in December 2022. Martin boasts an impressive record of 18 wins with 12 knockouts and looks to pull off a major upset against the champion.

The co-main event features another undefeated fighter, David Benavidez, who will be making a move up to the light heavyweight division. The two-time super middleweight champion, boasting a record of 28 wins with a staggering 24 knockouts, will challenge former champion Oleksandr Gvozdyk for the WBC interim title at 175 pounds.

Gvozdyk is a former light heavyweight champion, who made a successful comeback in 2023 after a brief retirement following a unification fight loss to Artur Beterbiev in 2019. His experience promises a thrilling matchup against rising star Benavidez.

The tickets and pricing for the boxing event are yet to be released by the PBC.
