Jeff Molina appears to be the latest to be removed from the UFC as the promotion continues to cut ties with anybody associated with the James Krause betting scandal.
The scandal has resulted in gaming associations in both the US and Canada removing UFC events from their sportsbooks.
It was reported that the flyweight had been removed from the UFC roster after the Nevada Athletic Commission (NSAC) suspended him for his involvement with Krause.

It was reported that Molina promoted Krause's bets and encouraged others on the discord server to join his VIP group. He vouched for the coach's knowledge of the sport and the information he has on fighters, writing:
"He's trained w/ a lot of the fighters, lives and breathes this sports as a coach/fighter, & at times has the scoop on injuries -- non-announced matchups -- how fighters look like in camp, etc."
The 25-year-old also compared the coach's knowledge to insider trading, writing:
"In stocks this is called insider trading. In MMA betting, it's called James Krause. For the last 6 months all my bills, including mortgage and car note, have been paid via Krause's picks. Do yourself a favor and join the VIP."
It remains to be seen what other revelations and repercussions there will be as more information surrounding the betting scandal becomes public.
Jeff Molina was a ranked flyweight in the UFC
Jeff Molina was a highly touted flyweight prospect in the UFC. He is only 25 years old and had competed in the promotion since 2020 after earning a UFC contract on Dana White's Contender Series.
Prior to his release from the promotion, Molina was the No.14-ranked contender in the division and on the cusp of breaking into the top 10. He is currently riding an impressive 10-fight winning streak dating back to 2018.
Based on the reasoning for his release, the flyweight prospect could have very well ruined his MMA career. Due to his association with James Krause, further sanctions and fines might come his way.
