5 years after their entertaining UFC fight, Jose Aldo and Jeremy Stephens are set to fight each other once again, this time in a boxing fight.
During his appearance on The MMA Hour, Jorge Masvidal revealed that both UFC veterans will be competing on the his upcoming Gamebred Boxing 4 event at the Fiserv Forum in Milwuakee, Wisconsin on Saturday, April 1.
Masvidal was thrilled to book the former UFC featherweight champion on his event, saying:
"Jose fu**ing Aldo. The WEC champion. One of the greatest or the greatest featherweight ever in UFC history, WEC history. What this guy has done in the sport, I mean, I don't need to tell you man. This guys is fu**ing an animal, I've always wanted to see him box."

It will be interesting to see whether the soon-to-be UFC Hall of Famer will be able to carry over his MMA success to boxing as it seems like he is committed to becoming an active boxer.

Jose Aldo defeated Jeremy Stephens in the UFC
Gamebred Boxing 4 will be the second bout between Jose Aldo and Jeremy Stephens.
Their first encounter took place on UFC on Fox: Alvarez vs. Poirier 2, which saw the former featherweight champion defeat 'Lil Heathen' via TKO at 4:19 of the first round. The TKO also earned him a post-fight bonus for Performance of the Night.
Both fighters are coming off a loss in their most recent MMA bouts. Stephens was submitted by Natan Schulte at PFL 10, while the Brazilian lost to Merab Dvalishvili via unanimous decision at UFC 278.
