Breaking: Mohammed Usman vs Junior Tafa booked for UFC Vegas 71 in April

It appears as though a heavyweight bout between Mohammed Usman and Junior Tafa has been booked for UFC Vegas 71 on April 22.

MMA reporter Marcel Dorff reported on Twitter that the bout will be added to the event, which is scheduled to take place at the UFC Apex. There is plenty of intrigue surrounding the bout as Usman has looked very impressive since his stint on The Ultimate Fighter, where he defeated Zac Pauga to become the TUF 30 heavyweight winner.

Usman has an MMA record of 8-2 with 4 wins coming via KO/TKO. Tafa has been equally as impressive so far in his short career. He has an unbeaten 4-0 MMA record, with all his wins coming via KO/TKO.

'The Juggenaut' is an exciting heavyweight prospect who will be making his promotional debut at the event. He most recently competed on the undercard at the Rizin vs. Bellator cross-promotional event this past New Year's Eve, where he defeated Tsuyoshi Kamiyama via first-round TKO.

Both fighters will have a great opportunity to move up into the heavyweight rankings should they earn an impressive win.
