After beating José Henrique in Dana White's Contender Series, Yusaku Kinoshita is set to make his official UFC debut against Adam Fugitt on February 4. The contest will likely take place in Seoul, South Korea. Fugitt has fought once in the UFC, losing to Michael Morales on his debut.
Kinoshita will be coming into the organization with a lot of hype, with the Japanese fighter scoring an impressive third-round stoppage in the Contender Series. Henrique was unbeaten before taking on the Japanese fighter and now has a 5-1 record in professional MMA.
Yusaku Kinoshita has made a habit of finishing his opponents during his professional MMA career. The Osaka-born fighter currently has a professional record of 6-1, with all of his wins coming via stoppage.

Kinoshita fought in organizations such as RIZIN and Pancrase before entering DWCS. The 22-year-old has gotten the better of Akihiro Murayama, Kenta Takagi, Yuta Nakamura, Ibuki Shimada, Yuta Amifuji and most recently José Henrique in his professional career.
Ryuichiro Sumimura remains the only fighter to beat Kinoshita in professional MMA, with the soon-to-be UFC newcomer losing via disqualification against him. Kinoshita was deemed to be grabbing the cage excessively, leading to the 22-year-old being disqualified in the second round at RIZIN Trigger 1st.
