In this bout, the No. 1-ranked 'King of the North' is aiming for his fourth straight victory and secure his tickets to the world title bout when he meets the veteran Saemapetch.

The 25-year-old knows he’s on the cusp of a crack at gold, but he’ll have to pass Saemapetch, who is the No. 4 contender and possesses a dangerous combination of power and veteran savvy.
Nico Carrillo aims to secure world title challenge against Jonathan Haggerty
For top contender Nico Carrillo, his next appearance against Thai veteran Saemapetch Fairtex will be a crucial one.
The Scottish fighter is ready to pummel his way to challenge the bantamweight Muay Thai king Jonathan Haggerty, by all means necessary.
Nonetheless, 'King of the North' said in a recent interview that his next victory will allow him the opportunity to face Haggerty, who is now standing at the top of the food chain:
"They've given me the hardest opponents. And I've taken them down one by one. And I'm not just beating these guys, I'm knocking them out cold to get to the top, the No. 1 spot. And for me, as a champion, you'd need to defend your belt against the No.1, that's how it's supposed to be."
