Paulo Costa is currently embroiled in a contract dispute with the UFC. The Brazilian recently claimed that he has one fight left on his current contract and is not too keen on extending terms with the world's premier MMA organization.
During a recent appearance on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, he bemoaned the fact that he has one fight left on his UFC contract. Costa originally viewed his fight against Luke Rockhold at UFC 278 as the final bout on his current contract, which was not the case.
It has now been revealed by Paulo Costa that he has declined a multi-fight UFC contract extension. 'Borrachinha' took to Twitter to inform fans about the latest developments:

"So I politely declined. They offer a 6-fight deal, but I'm not interested in a multi-fight deal."

The previous month, Costa provided specifics regarding his conversation with the Chief Business Officer of the UFC, Hunter Campbell, in which he emphasized the importance of a revised contract.
However, considering the recent tweet from the Brazilian, all signs point towards Costa securing a move away from the UFC. A move to boxing also remains a viable option for Costa, who has feuded with YouTuber-turned-pugilist Jake Paul in the past.
Paulo Costa hilariously comes out in defense of 'The Liver King'
It is common knowledge that Paulo Costa famously competed against Brian Johnson in a public eating competition for the title of 'The Liver King' by challenging him in a live liver-eating contest. As was to be expected, Johnson maintained his reign as 'The Liver King'.
Despite his repeated denials, it was discovered through leaked emails that 'The Liver King' had been using steroids to get his jacked body. This information contradicted his previous statements. There was a lot of speculation that he was using steroids, but no concrete evidence was found until the well-known YouTube channel More Plates More Dates revealed the truth about it.
The influencer admitted that he takes 120 milligrams of testosterone per week and apologized to his followers for misleading them by claiming that he was truly "all-natural."
In light of this news, Costa jokingly came out in defense of Johnson, claiming that he only consumes the Brazilian's patented 'secret juice':
"This is the only 🥤 juice @LiverKingBurner is on. Stop talk bulls**t about my friend."
