UFC middleweight contender Kyle Daukaus was recently cut from the UFC roster after a turbulent run of form in the world's premier MMA organization.
On June 27, 2020, at UFC on ESPN: Poirier vs. Hooker, Daukaus made his UFC debut as a short notice replacement for Ian Heinisch against Brendan Allen. Allen emerged victorious in a bloody battle with Daukaus following a thrilling back-and-forth contest between the pair.
Interestingly, before signing with the UFC, Kyle Daukaus had an unblemished 9-0 record. Since signing with the world leader in MMA, Kyale Daukaus' record has deteriorated, with the American accumulating just two victories in seven bouts under the UFC banner.

He was last seen inside the octagon against Eryk Anders in December 2022, a fight that he lost via TKO in the second round. The UFC deemed it appropriate to remove Daukaus from its roster owing to his losing skid (via @UFCRosterWatch):
Nonetheless, Kyle Daukaus is not disheartened by the bad tidings and hasn't given up hope on achieving the success he seeks, as evidenced by a cryptic update posted to his Instagram account. The inspirational quote read:
"The road to success is always under construction, and you will need to drive through the towns of failure, adversity, self-doubt, and critics to arrive at your destination of success."

What is Kyle Daukaus' record?
Kyle Daukaus grew up in the Tacony district of Northeast Philadelphia. Daukaus and his older brother Chris used to watch UFC fights growing up and then practise their own grappling techniques in the basement.
After some time, the brothers decided to compete in a grappling contest, where they ended up getting placed second overall despite having little preparation. Soon after, both the Daukaus brothers committed to training in mixed martial arts and eventually ended up competing professionally under the UFC banner.
Daukaus made his MMA debut in AFL 53 (Asylum Fight League) against Dino Juklo and submitted him via a rear-naked choke in the opening round. Daukaus went on to submit his next five opponents in spectacular fashion.
In Dana White's Contender Series 18, he fought Michael Lombardo and won via unanimous decision for his first and only decision victory. Daukaus is widely regarded as the master of the rare brabo choke, having won six fights in his professional MMA career through the submission hold.
Kyle Daukaus' record stands at 11 wins, 4 losses and 1 no contest in 16 fights as a professional MMA fighter.
