Another welterweight clash between Jack Della Maddalena and Randy Brown has been added to UFC 284, which takes place in Perth, Australia on February 12th.
Della Maddalena is a highly touted welterweight who has been praised for his striking, which earned him a UFC contract on Dana White's Contender Series in 2021. He is 3-0 since securing the contract, with every fight having been won via first-round TKO. He has also been awarded with a Performance of the Night bonus in back-to-back fights.

Meanwhile, Brown has been equally as impressive as of late as he is currently riding a 4-fight winning streak that includes wins over Alex Oliveira and Khaos Williams. The 32-year-old has competed in the promotion since 2016 and could earn himself a fight with a ranked opponent should he extend his winning streak.
'Rude Boy' will definitely have to deal with the crowd booing him as he competes against a Perthian.
Despite an 0-2 start to his MMA career, the Australian has won 13 straight fights and will look to continue making a name for himself in the UFC welterweight division. Should he continue his winning streak in decisive fashion, an opponent outside the top-10 could be the next logical step in his development.
Jack Della Maddalena was successful outside the UFC
Jack Della Maddalena has achieved a great deal of success competing outside of the UFC at a young age.
Although he began his career with back-to-back losses, he showed plenty of improvement with each passing fight, whether it was competing in Australia with Reign Fighting (RF) and Eternal MMA (EMMA), or Cage Warriors.
The Australian is also a former RF and EMMA welterweight champion. He defended his EMMA welterweight championship on four occasions prior to competing for a UFC contract on Dana White's Contender Series.
