Ahead of UFC Paris, Brendan Allen took to his Instagram story to lash out at the French commission. He accused the organization of corruption, claiming that it conducts itself in a manner he has never seen before across his entire career as a professional fighter.
The middleweight contender alleged that they demanded urine samples in the immediate aftermath of his weigh-in, during which he was severely dehydrated, so he was forced to wait three hours before being able to urinate. Moreover, they also requested a blood sample.
"Just so everyone knows. France has the most corrupt way of dealing with fighters ever in the whole world. Had f**king over 40 fights, fought outside the country [United States], in the country, different states, that state, made weight, no problem. And they're going to tell me that I have to give blood or urine. First they said urine, that I have to give urine right off the scale. So dehydrated, just waited three hours, finally have to pee. Then they tell me I got to give blood on top of that. I do the urine [test]."
That wasn't the end of Allen's ordeal, who has soured on France's handling of MMA, which seemed to only target him and Renato Moicano on the UFC Paris card.

"They say they're going to do blood. They do blood, they say they don't get enough. They try to tell me they need more. I say, 'You're not going to stick me again.' No main top guy of France had to do this sh*t. So just me and [Renato] Moicano had to do this. The two most important fights on the card and the two Frenchman didn't get to have anything. They just get to go to their room. Sleep, chill, eat. Do everything they want to do. F**k this place. This place is a f**king sh*thole."

Brendan Allen isn't the only middleweight to have had similar issues
While Brendan Allen is the latest fighter to have something to say about how urine and blood samples are sometimes collected for drug tests, one-time middleweight title challenger Paulo Costa is another. Only 'Borrachinha's' situation was not in France.
Check out Paulo Costa lashing out at USADA:
It involved USADA trying to conduct a drug test on Costa just hours before his weigh-in for his middleweight clash with Luke Rockhold.
