British Muay Thai royalty Liam Harrison cannot state enough how important the United Kingdom is to Muay Thai's surge in popularity in recent years, especially under the ONE Championship banner. During the pre-fight press conference ahead of ONE 168: Denver, which goes down on Friday, Sept. 6 at the Ball Arena, 'Hitman' said:

"So I think we are definitely up there, and should be considered as one of the leading forces in Muay Thai at the minute."

There is a lot of truth to Harrison's statement as stars from the UK like himself, ONE bantamweight Muay Thai and kickboxing world champion Jonathan Haggerty, and third-ranked flyweight Muay Thai fighter Jacob Smith, among others, have all had great success competing in the art of eight limbs.

Harrison and Haggerty, in particular, will play a significant role in representing their country at ONE 168: Denver. The former will achieve his lifelong dream of fighting fellow Muay Thai legend Seksan Or Kwanmuang in a catchweight (140-pound) Muay Thai encounter. Meanwhile, 'The General' will defend the 145-pound Muay Thai crown against ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion Superlek Kiatmoo9 in the main event.

Liam Harrison fully aware of Seksan's dangerous knockout power

Liam Harrison enjoys non-stop, all-out firefights but knows he cannot afford to play the same game with 'The Man Who Yields To No One' at ONE 168: Denver.

During a recent interview with the South China Morning Post, Harrison said:

"It's not like I took a f***ing easy road to come back to, you know what I mean? So if it goes to sh*t, I'm getting f***ing knocked out, you know what I mean? Seksan is dynamite. But I believe everything will go how I see it going."
