British striking superstar Liam Harrison is now all set and ready for his grand return on Sept. 6 as part of the stacked ONE 168: Denver card at the Ball Arena in Colorado, where he will face Seksan Or Kwanmuang in a catchweight Muay Thai contest.

Harrison doubled down on his excitement during the recent ONE 168 press conference and stated that he has been itching to get back in action, as he stated:

"That's what I'm looking forward to as well, because I've been out of the ring a long time, and I've been itching to get back in there."

The 'Hitman' is coming off a successful recovery from multiple tears on his ligaments that were injured when he fought Nong-O Hama in August 2022 at ONE on Prime Video 1 for the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title.

Such injuries required rehabilitation and full recovery, which is why he was forced to watch from the sidelines for over two years. But now that he is fully healthy and has received a green light from doctors, he is hungry to showcase his talents again in front of a global audience.

Liam Harrison says that the UK is the number two pound-for-pound Muay Thai country

During the same press conference, Harrison stated that the UK is now behind Thailand in terms of producing the best Muay Thai fighters in the world, unlike during his time when there were only a few elite fighters who were competing.

The Bad Company representative gave credit to his compatriots for catching up with the Thais in the world, as he said:

"Well, we're in an amazing place. A few years ago, there weren't that many elite-level fighters. If you look across the board now, I think the UK is number two pound-for-pound on the planet, behind Thailand, and even now, especially ONE Championship, guys like Jonathan, and Nico, we are smashing the Thais."

ONE 168: Denver will transpire from the Ball Arena in U.S. primetime on Sept. 6. Tickets for the event are available on Ticketmaster.
