The toe injury that pushed Irish MMA megastar Conor McGregor to pull out of UFC 303 last June seems to have finally healed.

As of recent social media posts, 'The Notorious' was seen running in the sun in full stride. This spells good news for his fans as the Irishman might be seen in action soon.

Conor McGregor says he'll return to action in December

This video seems to signal that McGregor is truly dead set on returning soon. Although some fans in the comments section felt that 'The Notorious' is never fighting again, the Irishman gave us a simple answer on whether or not he'll return.

In a recent tweet by X user @DiceMma12 directed at McGregor, he asked when he'll come back inside the Octagon.

@DiceMma12 said:

"December champ?"

Conor McGregor simply replied with:

''Yes''

Here's the interaction as posted by Championship Rounds on X:

Perhaps the most disappointing news in the MMA world of the year so far was the pulling out of McGregor from his much-awaited return to action at UFC 303 last June against Michael Chandler. It was supposed to be his first bout since 2021 and would have been the highest-grossing UFC pay-per-view of the year.

Unfortunately, 'The Notorious' suffered a toe injury and was subsequently replaced by Alex Pereira, who successfully defended his UFC light heavyweight belt against Jiri Prochazka.
