Max Holloway recently shared training footage of himself prepping for the Ilia Topuria fight at UFC 308, which drew reactions from MMA fans all over the world. While some expressed their support for Holloway, others asserted that Topuria might be too much for the Hawaiian.
Their fight is slated to take place on Oct. 26 at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, following much back-and-forth on social media and in interviews. In the main event of the pay-per-view, Topuria will defend his featherweight title for the first time against Holloway.
Holloway recently uploaded a video on his YouTube channel, revealing the behind-the-scenes of his preparation for the Topuria fight. In the clip, 'Blessed' was spotted honing his boxing skills, perhaps considering his matchup against the Spaniard will most likely be a stand-up game.

Max Holloway claims Ilia Topuria lacks "fight IQ"
Last month, Ilia Topuria issued a stern warning to Max Holloway, claiming that he would be the first fighter to knock 'Blessed' out in his professional MMA career.
This did not sit well with Holloway, who responded in an interview with ESPN MMA, saying:
"I saw an interview of [Topuria] saying that: ‘Bring the last 10 seconds to the first 10 seconds of the fight,’ which is his fight IQ might not be there. His athleticism and his power and strength is there, but [he] might be lacking a little bit in fight IQ. So, after saying that, I was like, ‘Brother, you’ve got to go work on your brain, my guy.'''
