Bryan Battle, the 'TUF 29' middleweight tournament winner, secured a dominant victory over Kevin Jousset at UFC Fight Night: Paris, earning a standing TKO finish in the second round. The win extended Battle's undefeated streak to four in the welterweight division, further establishing himself as a rising contender in the UFC.
Known for his aggressive fighting style and powerful striking, Battle controlled the pace of the fight from the outset. He consistently landed clean punches and kicks, forcing Jousset to retreat and defend. In the second round, Battle capitalized on Jousset's fatigue, unleashing a flurry of strikes that sent the Frenchman crashing to the canvas.
Following his victory, Battle flipped off the crowd, who had been booing him throughout the fight. He then proceeded to deliver a provocative octagon interview, taunting the French audience:

When Bryan Battle was knocked out as a heavyweight fighter
Bryan Battle has come a long way since his early days as a heavyweight fighter. In an interview with TMZ Sports, Battle revealed that he weighed nearly 300 pounds after graduating high school:
“So I was 21 at the time, pushing 300lb. I was like 240lb in high school, I never really watched my diet but I was just always kind of doing something and that kind of kept my weight down. But once I got out of high school and stopped doing things my weight kind of blew up." [H/t: Bloddy Elbow]
Driven by a passion for mixed martial arts, Battle began training and gradually lost weight. He made his amateur MMA debut at LFA heavyweight but was quickly knocked out by a head kick from his opponent Michel Andre.
However, Battle didn’t let the loss discourage him. He kept training and competing, dropping weight classes as he progressed. Eventually, he made his way to 'The Ultimate Fighter' and won the show’s 29th season at middleweight. The fighter now fights in the 170-pound division.
