Bryan Battle's "full heel" response to a booing UFC 310 crowd after narrowly beating Randy Brown triggers mass backlash over missed weight 

It appears that Bryan Battle has fully embraced his role as a UFC heel following his contentious split-decision win over Randy Brown at UFC 310. The bout, marred by Battle’s four-pound weight miss, saw 'The Ultimate Fighter' winner play to the crowd’s jeers after the results were announced.

The fight in itself was a competitive affair with Brown dominating early exchanges with crisp jabs and strikes to the body. Battle clawed his way back into contention in the second round, using clinch work and heavy strikes to shift the momentum.

The final round saw Brown stun Battle with a clean right hand, only for the action to return to the clinch in a gruelling exchange of control. In the end, two judges scored the fight in favour of Battle, a verdict that sparked clear discontent among the fans in attendance.

Battle's response to the boos was anything but conciliatory. Speaking to Joe Rogan in the post-fight interview, he mocked the audience, seemingly relishing his heel persona. Battle said:

"Who are you booing? I know all these sick twisted degenerates in Vegas are booing 'The Butcher'. I just put my heart out there for you all."
