'Buchecha' offers a tease of upcoming feature documentary

ONE heavyweight powerhouse Marcus 'Buchecha' Almeida is teasing an upcoming feature documentary that's focused on his combat sports story.

Almeida is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu legend who is a multiple-time World jiu-jitsu and ADCC submission fighting champion. 'Buchecha' has been an absolute force since transitioning to MMA and joining ONE Championship in 2021.

The heavyweight is a perfect 4-0 inside the circle, with each fight ending in the very first round. In 2022, Almeida took out Simon Carson and Kirill Grishenko via opening-round stoppages.

BJJ legend 'Buchecha' gives praise to ONE CEO Chatri Sityodtong

Almeida is very grateful for the position that he's currently in — and he sends his thanks and gratitude to ONE Championship CEO Chatri Sityodtong.

'Buchecha' praised him in an Instagram interview with MMA Hoje, saying:

"Yeah this is awesome. No words to describe Chatri. What he’s been doing for the athletes and for the organization, no one has ever seen anything like it and when everyone says the same thing about the same guy, you know it’s true."

Many fighters that joined the promotion, like Demetrious Johnson and Roberto Soldic, praised Chatri Sityodtong and the way that ONE takes care of their fighters.

Almeida currently has his crosshairs fixated on competing for a heavyweight world title in the near future. The division's title picture is cloudy at the moment, with Arjan Bhullar and Anatoly Malykhin expected to unify the belts in the coming months.
