Buchecha predicts winner of "man of the steel" Rodtang Jitmuangnon vs. Joseph Lasiri at ONE on Prime Video 4

ONE rising star Marcus ‘Buchecha’ Almeida is a big-time Rodtang Jitmuangnon fan. So much so that he believes that Thai’s reign of terror in the ONE flyweight Muay Thai division is far from over.

‘The Iron Man’ will look to deny ONE strawweight Muay Thai world champion Joseph Lasiri’s dream of becoming a two-division world champion this Friday at ONE on Prime Video 4: Abbasov vs. Lee.

The clash between the two striking savants will take place at the Singapore Indoor Stadium live on US Primetime and free of charge for all Amazon Prime Video subscribers.

When asked by ONE Championship whom he thinks will get his hand raised that evening, ‘Buchecha’ did not hesitate to pick the Thai wrecking machine.

The Brazilian jiu-jitsu (BJJ) ace said:

The Jitmuangnon gym standout is coming off a dominant three-round victory over Jacob Smith at ONE 157 last May, where he employed a more methodical approach to systematically dismantle his opponent.

Joseph Lasiri relishes being an underdog, he certainly fights with a big chip on his shoulder each time.

‘The Hurricane’ used his incredible fight IQ to dethrone former strawweight Muay Thai king Prajanchai PK. Saenchai in his last outing.

Rodtang, meanwhile, watched the fight closely and initially praised the Italian-Moroccan for executing the perfect gameplan against his fellow Thai fighter.

‘The Iron Man’, though, believes Lasiri’s cerebral fighting style won’t work against him when their paths finally cross.
