UFC lightweight 'Iron' Michael Chandler is looking jacked ahead of his rematch with Charles Oliveira in the co-main event of UFC 309 this weekend. Chandler, who is already the owner of one of the most chiseled physiques in the sport's history, is somehow looking more shredded and beefy for this fight.
With nearly zero percent fat and muscles popping out of nearly every inch of his anatomy, Chandler looks like he's been created in a laboratory somewhere.

Michael Chandler ahead of UFC 309 bout with Charles Oliveira: "I'm a rejuvenated, reborn fighter"
It seems it's not just Michael Chandler's physique that went through change in this new fight camp - his mentality has gone through a metamorphosis as well. Losing a Fight of the Night-winning bout against Dustin Poirier in his last outing, Chandler came back from the ashes to rise again to the top.
His first obstacle was the man who first beat him for the UFC lightweight throne, Charles Oliveira. 'Iron' and 'Do Bronx' faced each other for the vacant strap back in 2021. After nearly finishing Oliveira in the first round, Chandler was submitted in the following round.
In an appearance in former UFC champion Demetrious Johnson's podcast, 'Iron' spoke about how he's a new man ahead of his second dance with the Brazilian former champion:
"I love this fight. I love the timing of it. I just think I'm a rejuvenated, reborn figher, man. I call it Chandler 2.0. It's just different. So I think I go out there, put the foot on the gas like I always do, maybe not a 12, maybe an 11.5 [laughs] and put some hands on him."
On the way to the revamped fighting style of Chandler 2.0, the heavy-handed lightweight said:
"I'm 38. I can't be fighting like I'm 22. Like a bat out of hell with no skill. I still fight at the same pace, the same crazy pace as I did at 22 when I didn't know how to fight. I got all this knowledge and all this experience so I need to fight like it."
