Reigning ONE heavyweight, light heavyweight, and middleweight MMA world champion Anatoly Malykhin has endeared himself to the fans because of his many hilarious antics outside the circle.

The world's largest martial arts promotion shared on Instagram a video of 'Sladkiy' honing his core strength with his wife, Anita, dropping coconuts on his abs from different heights.

Malykhin is not trying out a new training style just for the sake of it but because he is only a week away from defending the ONE heavyweight MMA world championship against Oumar 'Reug Reug' Kane at ONE 169: Malykhin vs. 'Reug Reug' on Nov. 8 inside the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Kane will be his toughest opponent yet because of his strong wrestling abilities, which he leveraged into three TKO wins in five triumphs.

Meanwhile, the Golden Team fighter has posted a similarly impressive record, with six finishes in as many fights under the ONE banner.

Aung La N Sang expects knockout finish between Anatoly Malykhin and 'Reug Reug'

Former ONE light heavyweight and middleweight MMA world champion Aung La N Sang foresees a knockout when Anatoly Malykhin and Oumar Kane meet at ONE 169.

Speaking recently with The AllStar, 'The Burmese Python' said:

"I think someone's gonna get knocked out. They both have a lot of power and they both have pretty good wrestling too."
