Caio Borralho was able to pick up the biggest win of his mixed martial arts career as he defeated Jared Cannonier via unanimous decision in the main event of UFC on ESPN 62. 'The Natural' will likely move into the top five of the middleweight rankings when they are updated later this week.
While he called for a title opportunity against Dricus du Plessis following the bout, Borralho does not believe 'Stillknocks' will retain the belt against Sean Strickland. Speaking at the post-fight press conference, he stated:
"I got [Sean] Strickland winning this fight, maybe, beacuse I think Strickland won the last one, but maybe he left a little bit inside the octagon that he could do a little bit more, but MMA is crazy. I always bet against Dricus [du Plessis] and he always wins, so I'm not betting on the next one. Not betting on money, but not picking someone that is going to win - I'm not picking. Let those guys kill themselves and I'm the next one."

He is 7-0 since receiving a UFC contract on 'Dana White's Contender' Series in 2021.
