ONE Championship fans are buzzing with excitement to watch Alexis Nicolas defend the ONE lightweight kickboxing world championship against ONE lightweight Muay Thai world champion Regian Eersel. That bout headlines ONE Fight Night 25 on Friday, Oct. 4, inside the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

The world's largest martial arts promotion posted the entirety of Nicolas' earth-shaking defeat of 'The Immortal' at ONE Fight Night 21 this past April to win the 170-pound kickboxing crown on YouTube:

Alexis Nicolas gunning for $50,000 performance bonus by knocking out Regian Eersel

Alexis Nicolas wants to bring home a $50,000 performance bonus, alongside the ONE lightweight kickboxing world championship, by knocking out Regian Eersel at ONE Fight Night 25.

Speaking exclusively to Sportskeeda MMA, 'Barboza' stated:

"Last time, Eersel was undefeated for many years, so I was sure that if I win against him, I will get a bonus. But there was no bonus for me. Maybe next time, I have to knock him out to get this."
