Canelo Alvarez recently teased a potential fight with Terence Crawford. Alvarez stated that anything is possible, refusing to rule out the chances of a showdown with Crawford down the line.
Many in the boxing community have expressed their desire to witness a super fight between Alvarez and Crawford, including Saudi Arabia's Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority, Turki Alalshikh, who is responsible for arranging some exciting boxing matchups in recent years.
Alvarez recently attended the relaunch and award ceremony of Alalshikh's Ring magazine in London this past weekend. The event was also graced by boxing personalities like Lennox Lewis, Shakur Stevenson, Daniel Dubois, and so on.
During the red carpet interview, the Mexican superstar was asked about Alalshikh's wish to see him fighting Crawford. In response, Alvarez said:

Alvarez and Crawfrord have previously traded words on social media. Before his title fight against Edgar Berlanga last year, the 34-year-old was questioned if he would ever face Crawford inside the squared circle. In response, Alvarez stated that he would be willing to fight "if the money is right," referring to a huge sum of $150 million.
The boxer went on to claim that he could easily defeat Crawford, which didn't sit well with the latter who reprimanded Alvarez for declining Alalshikh's offer rather than fighting.
During his appearance at the Noche UFC 306 in September last year, Crawford, who was sitting next to Alalshikh, called out Alvarez.
As for their boxing outings, Alvarez successfully defended his super middleweight title against Berlanga via unanimous decision. Meanwhile, Crawford is also coming off a unanimous decision win against Israil Madrimov, which saw him become the new WBA junior middleweight champion.
When Turki Alalshikh blasted Canelo Alvarez
Canelo Alvarez expressed his disapproval of Turki Alalshikh's business practices in a past interview.
Alalshikh then took to social media to lash out at Alvarez, accusing him of dodging fights with David Benavidez and Terence Crawford, writing:
''I heard what Canelo said, that he respects me but doesn’t like the way we do business...And I know how he feels after losing to Bivol, so he’s been looking for easier fights ever since. Also, I’m not the one who’s afraid of fighting Benavidez or Crawford...I’m continuing my way to make big fights that serve the boxing world, and he’s on his way to making easy show-only fights.”
