Edgar Berlanga silences all outside noise as he prepares for the Canelo Alvarez fight

Boxing fans have voiced their disapproval of the Alvarez vs. Berlanga matchup in large numbers, with many calling for Canelo Alvarez to take on Terence Crawford or David Benavidez instead. Edgar Berlanga recently downplayed speculation regarding Alvarez's prospective opponents before their boxing match.

'The Chosen One' made the following statement during the event's initial press conference:
