UFC 287 played host to an incredible night of fights, with the crowning moment of the evening being Israel Adesanya triumphantly reclaiming the middleweight title. The pay-per-view event took place in Miami and saw some of the world’s biggest celebrities in attendance.

Former President Donald Trump made a surprise appearance in the VIP area alongside Mike Tyson and Kid Rock, who all sat with UFC president Dana White for the entire event.

NFL wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. was also in attendance at UFC 287, along with Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow and Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson.

The Governor of Florida, Ron DeSantis, was also in attendance last night.

YouTuber Logan Paul was also in attendance at last night's pay-per-view event. He was even captured asking to switch seats with someone to avoid being on camera.

The first UFC event in Miami in over 20 years was an undeniable success. The Kaseya Center was sold out and was the sixth-highest-grossing event in promotional history, at a staggering $11.9 million.

UFC president Dana White stated that there is a 'new sheriff in town' regarding which arena is the best candidate to host the promotion's biggest fights. White stated that last night's event eclipsed the gate at UFC 281 at Madison Square Garden, which is regarded as the 'Mecca of combat sports.'

UFC 281 was also headlined by Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira, but having Miami native Jorge Masvidal as the co-main event for UFC 287 could be the reason for its enormous success.

Watch fighters react to Israel Adesanya's incredible knockout win at UFC 287

Israel Adesanya conquered his toughest battle in the world of combat sports at UFC 287 last night when he knocked out Alex Pereira to reclaim the middleweight title. 'The Last Stylebender' had been defeated by Pereira three times in combat sports prior to last night, twice in kickboxing and once in MMA, at UFC 281.

But Adesanya overcame any self-doubt that he might have had and etched his name into the history books as not just one of the best fighters of all time but one of the best champions the sport has ever seen.

Videos have begun circulating online of fellow MMA fighters reacting to the shocking finish.

Adesanya's teammate Alexander Volkanovski was understandably 'pumped' for his longtime friend and training partner. 'The Great' knows firsthand just how much 'The Last Stylebender' wanted to win at UFC 287.

Former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou also captured his reaction to the win:

Brendan Schaub hosted a fight companion video alongside UFC bantamweight title contender Marlon 'Chito' Vera, and both men were immensely happy for Adesanya:
