Chael Sonnen recently criticized an X page for its questionable usage of the word 'blackmail' to address an issue related to Elon Musk and the Republicans. Sonnen also took a subtle dig at the account's administrators.
Sonnen, a self-proclaimed 'Media Mogul' as per his X bio, mostly uses his social media handles to express his opinions about various issues related to the fight game. However, he also occasionally presents his take on some social matters.
'The American Gangster's' nonchalant on-the-mic persona was one of the biggest factors behind the boost in his popularity after joining the UFC. But despite being one of the most reputed trash-talkers in UFC history, Sonnen did a great job of controlling profanity in his speeches, which testifies to his articulate nature regarding the selection of words.
A recent X update from Sonnen showcased this side of him once more as he lambasted how X page @YourAnonCentral used the word 'blackmail.' Sonnen reposted their update with a caption reading:

"Don’t use words like BLACKMAIL if you don’t know what they mean."
Chael Sonnen wanted two professional boxers to have a fight in place of the Conor McGregor vs. Logan Paul showdown
Chael Sonnen may resort to expressing his take on some social issues through his X account, but on his YouTube channel, he hardly talks about anything else apart from current combat sports affairs. In one of his recent videos, the Oregon native gave his take on the potential Conor McGregor vs. Logan Paul fight, which is scheduled to take place in India.
However, Sonnen didn't sound positive regarding the encounter. Sonnen said:
"If you are the one who is willing to do that [the McGregor vs. Paul event], and write a big enough cheque, [you should] go after the best people of that industry [elite professional boxers]. Conor cannot be confused with a great boxer. Logan cannot be confused with a great boxer."
