Chael Sonnen recently revealed a piece of advice he shared with Conor McGregor that went unheeded. 'The American Gangster' compared McGregor's advent in the UFC to that of Steve Austin in the WWE.
Sonnen noted that McGregor, like Austin, went after both the good and the bad guys when he joined the promotion. However, 'The American Gangster' had suggested that 'Notorious' should have at least one ally in order to be considered sincere. The 45-year-old recently said on his YouTube channel:
"It was advice that I gave to Conor, that he did not take. That's okay but I will just share the advice with you. Which, Conor wanted everybody, Conor came in and he was a Stone Cold Steve Austin type. If you guys remember the attitude era, you know what I mean. Back then there was good guys and there was bad guys. Stone Cold came in and flipped them both off. Stone cold hated the good guys, he hated the bad guys too... When Conor came in, he went after everyone... It was everywhere, there were no allies. And I just thought that he should have one otherwise it would take away from his sincerity."

Conor McGregor challenges former friend Artem Lobov to a fight over lawsuit
Conor McGregor was once so close to Artem Lobov that ' The Notorious' traveled to Brooklyn when Khabib Nurmagomedov confronted Lobov at UFC 223, leading to the infamous 'dolly' incident.
However, things have now seemingly soured between the two, with Lobov filing a lawsuit seeking compensation for his contribution to building McGregor's Proper Twelve whiskey.
However, McGregor suggested that they should settle their dispute inside the SBG gym. The Irishman wrote in a now-deleted tweet:
"This is a call out to Artem 'the fanny, fairy pad' Lobov. I'm challening you to a fight tonight. 10:30 p.m. I'll meet you down at SBG Concorde and we'll fight for the whole lot. We'll fight for the whole lot. Having lawyers message me about defamation and all this suing and all. You're a little fairy, you're a little blouse mate."
Conor McGregor's tirade also included other tweets where he called Lobov a 'sausage' and confirmed that a lawsuit is in motion.
