Khabib Nurmagomedov recently made headlines after being removed from a Frontier Airlines flight due to a seating dispute. The UFC legend alleged racial discrimination, claiming the airline staff unjustly removed him despite his willingness to comply with emergency row requirements.

The incident, captured on video and shared widely online, showed Khabib questioning the flight attendant's decision while asserting he had met all boarding requirements.

In response to the controversy, Colby Covington posted on social media, humorously questioning why Khabib flew economy.

Adding to the discussion, Chael Sonnen offered his analysis in a YouTube video. Sonnen theorized that the ticketing mishap could stem from the communal lifestyle Team Nurmagomedov is known for:

"Why was Khabib in coach? Who booked that ticket? Who didn't read the contract? Who possibly would make a mistake which seems simple but they did it to the biggest star... The way those Dagestanis, the way team Nurmagomedov tells the story is, they're all equals, they're closed, they will all share clothing. You don't have to ask. But hey, you got a shirt I can wear today ? You can just go help yourself and he'll do the same to you."

He further added:

"This is how they actually operate. But that would make sense, you go to get on an airline. You got four, five, six guys all on the same flight. You hand them out this time this guy's first-class or these two are first class and these four in the back or these five are in the back. Like that's how that would work. That's the way this story has always been told to us and I've never seen it differently."
