Charles Oliveira clapped back at Conor McGregor's comments that were in response to the Brazilian giving his predictions for the Irishman's next fight against Michael Chandler.

Oliveira recently stated that Conor McGregor knows how to sell fights and get people to watch him fight, but he would not win against Chandler. In response to his comments, McGregor went on a typical rant on Twitter and called 'do Bronx' out in a since-deleted tweet:

"Charles Oliveira shut your pie hole"

Oliveira responded by saying:

"Can't keep a simple tweet [you deleted Conor]. Chandler will mop you"

'The Notorious' is known for expressing his views and trash-talking on social media and then deleting his posts soon after.

McGregor is getting ready to make his return to the UFC after last appearing in the octagon in July 2021. He will first coach on the latest season of 'The Ultimate Fighter'. After the season ends, sometime in the second half of this year, he will fight his rival coach Michael Chandler in what is expected to be a welterweight matchup.

Conor McGregor calls out UFC fighters for being dishonorable

Conor McGregor has called out UFC fighters for the dishonorable act of punching their opponents after they are knocked out. McGregor posted a screenshot of his fight against Ivan Buchinger where he knocked his opponent out with a counter punch and did not dish out any punishment after Buchinger hit the floor.

He tweeted out saying:

"I was never going to hit here. Fighters that do this are dishonorable in my opinion. It’s so much smoother to recognize the KO and billi walk off."

Take a look at the tweet:

This was the fight that solidified Conor McGregor's name as a Cage Warriors legend, as he became its first double champion. McGregor claimed he was not going to punch Buchinger after he fell to the canvas and criticized fighters who do that. Francis Ngannou was one such UFC fighter who would relentlessly clobber his opponents even after they fell to the floor defenseless.

According to the rules, a bout is not over until the referee stops it, so fighters like Ngannou are technically following the rules. However, McGregor believes it is not 'honorable' to strike an opponent who can no longer fight back.
