The Katie Taylor vs. Chantelle Cameron scorecard has emerged to be a hot topic of debate on social media.
The two undefeated athletes locked horns on May 20 at the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland. Chantelle Cameron made history by becoming the first person to defeat 'KT' in a professional boxing match. By doing so, the 32-year-old also successfully retained the WBA, WBC, IBF & WBO super-lightweight championships.
The fight was a close affair that lasted the allotted 10 rounds. In the end, 'Il Capo' managed to edge out a majority decision victory over Taylor, with 95-95, 96-94, and 96-94 on the three official scorecards.

The outcome of the fight had people on social media talking, who took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the scorecards.
There were many who criticized the judge who scored the fight a draw.
But there were others who said the fight was a highly-competitive affair and the scorecards were a fair reflection of it.
"Nah man the scorecards were fair. Taylor landed a lot of the cleaner shots, but Cameron landed more shots and put on all the pressure. Close fight."
"Correct call for me, I’ve seen some bad decisions made in recent years, thankfully, tonight, apart from the 95-95, they made the correct call. Great fight, Cameron just had that little bit too much for KT which showed in the later rounds."

Irish superstar, Conor McGregor was in attendance for the fight between Katie Taylor and Chantelle Cameron. 'The Notorious' also played the role of a sponsor for the event.
After the event, McGregor spoke to Mirror Fighting and shared his thoughts on the fight. According to 'Mystic Mac' the fight was a draw and he expressed his desire in witnessing a rematch between the two athletes soon:
