After recovering from a hand injury to start the year, Rodtang Jitmuangnon returned with a bang at ONE 167 last June at Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.
The reigning flyweight Muay Thai world champion traded heavy leather with Denis Puric in a catchweight kickboxing contest that was action-packed from start to finish.
ONE Championship recently shared a snippet of one the most epic moments of that wild brawl, where both fighters charged forward and traded violent blows with evil intentions in the middle of the Circle.
"Chaos unleashed 🔥👊 Who’s ready for more Rodtang at ONE 169?"

Rodtang certainly got the better of the furious exchanges, as his heavy punches broke through 'The Bosnian Menace's defenses. 'The Iron Man' chained his combinations masterfully, from pin-point hooks, crushing uppercuts, and well-placed body shots.
Once Puric tightened his guard to defend the assault, the Thai hero pounced out of nowhere with a beautiful flying knee. What a sequence indeed.
Rodtang walked away with the unanimous decision nod that evening and he'll look to carry over that momentum to his next challenge.
The Thai megastar will defend his flyweight Muay Thai crown against familiar foe Jacob Smith in the penultimate match of ONE 169: Malykhin vs. Reug Reug at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Rodtang says he can't afford to underestimate Jacob Smith
Rodtang handily beat up Jacob Smith the last time they shared the Circle back in 2022.
Despite having the mental edge over the third-ranked flyweight Muay Thai contender, the Jitmuangnon Gym star is not the type to underestimate his opponents, especially with the fight contested in four-ounce gloves.
'The Iron Man' told ONE:
"I can’t underestimate my opponent because Jacob Smith is tough and durable. With his strong physique, I can’t underestimate him.”
