Sean O'Malley's coach Tim Welch has weighed in on a potential showdown between Charles Oliveira and Irish superstar Conor McGregor.
Welch believes that 'do Bronx' could face serious problems due to his poor eyesight against the Irishman:
"It's insane with Charles... the fact that he says how bad his vision is and he goes in there. That's what makes me think, if the match did happen with Conor, f**k, you never know because Conor's so pin-point with his strikes."

Oliveira has gone on record to say that without his glasses, his eyesight is only 50 percent. The Brazilian also said that due to his poor vision, he sees three opponents instead of one inside the octagon:
"So I see three. If I'm hitting the middle one, it's all right. I think, 'Keep this same technique.' Three guys for me is perfect. If I'm hitting the middle one, it's alright. I'll tell you the truth, I'm a guy who has a lot of faith in God and it's no joke. If I take off my glasses, I can only see 50 per cent, but it never hindered me in the fight... Sometimes I like to walk in with the glasses to look harmless and more nerdy than I already am."

There is a Reddit thread claiming that Oliveira has gotten his eyes fixed but there has been no official confirmation regarding the same.
Charles Oliveira will look to re-gain title at UFC 280
Charles Oliveira had his UFC lightweight title taken away at UFC 274 after the Brazilian missed weight by half-a-pound. Now, 'do Bronx' will be looking to re-claim his place on the lightweight throne at UFC 280.
But it will not be a cakewalk for Charles Oliveira as he will compete against Islam Makhahcev, who is currently riding a 10-fight win streak in the UFC.
If the Brazilian emerges victorious at UFC 280, there will be a strong argument for him being the greatest lightweight fighter of all time.
Michael Bisping believes so too. In a recent video, 'The Count' said that with a win over Makhachev, Oliveira would surpass Khabib Nurmagomedov to become the 'GLOAT' (Greatest Lightweight of All Time).
