ONE Championship chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong believes he has the next bantamweight Muay Thai world title clash booked.
The Thai-Japanese entrepreneur and recent BJJ black belt says it's time for no.1-ranked 'King of the North' Nico Carrillo of Scotland to get his long overdue crack at gold against reigning ONE bantamweight Muay Thai and flyweight kickboxing world champion 'The Kicking Machine' Superlek Kiatmoo9.
Sityodtong told ONE in a recent interview:

"I do think Nico [Carrillo] is next for Superlek. That's the fight that I'd like to see most. Of course, there are a lot of other fights. I'd like to see Superlek versus Rodtang II, but I think the next fight is Nico. He has been waiting long enough. Nico has earned it, and I think the world wants to see them."
Needless to say, any matchup involving Superlek is sure to produce fireworks. But a showdown with Carrillo, in particular, promises to be very entertaining.
Carrillo is one of the most exciting bantamweights in ONE Championship, and is unbeaten in the world's largest martial arts organization. He owns notable victories over Muangthai PK Saenchai, Nong-O Hama, and Saemapetch Fairtex.
Meanwhile, Superlek is arguably the world's top pound-for-pound striker and recently made history as a two-division, two-sport world champion.
Chatri Sityodtong on Superlek's meteoric rise in ONE Championship: "He's a monster"
For Chatri Sityodtong, there is no doubt that 'The Kicking Machine' Superlek Kiatmoo9 is the absolute best there is in the striking realm. And now that the Thai star has made the necessary adjustments to his training, he will only further establish his dominance.
Sityodtong said:
"I think he learned the nutrition piece. He's hired a nutritionist to help him make sure that he can cut weight healthily through training camp. He's elevating his sports science as well. So I think he's doing all the right things, combined with the fact he's only 27 years old. He's a monster. So I think right now his confidence is sky-high, and he's as sharp as ever."
