ONE Championship CEO and Chairman Chatri Sityodtong was shocked that 'The Warrior' Christian Lee chose to trade strikes against 'Brazen' Kiamrian Abbasov headlining ONE on Prime Video 4.
It almost cost Lee the fight as he was dropped and struggled to recover in the first round. The Singaporean-American rallied back to earn a fourth-round TKO win, thus crowning himself as the latest two-division world titleholder in ONE Championship.
In the post-fight press conference, Chatri Sityodtong said:
"I mean, what an incredible fight. You know, I actually thought that Christian was going to run through Abbasov. That was my gut feeling. Because the grappling is, Christian's grappling is way too good."

"I did not expect Christian to stand in the pocket. That was a game plan that I didn't expect and it's crazy because I thought the ref was going to stop the fight in the first round."
'The Warrior' showed his fortitude and strength as he not only survived but went on to win his fight. History was made in the main event of ONE on Prime Video 4 as Christian Lee is now the lightweight and welterweight world titleholder in ONE Championship.
