Chidi 'Chidi Bang Bang' Njokuani and Albert 'Machete' Duraev will open UFC on ESPN: Vera vs Sandhagen on 25th March at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas.
A banger of a matchup at 185, Njokuani and Duraev are highly touted fighters. Njokuani enters the matchup with a 22-8 record, and is coming off a TKO loss to Gregory Rodrigues. He stands at 6'3" with a reach of 80" and fights at 185 lbs. He is a powerhouse fighter with 14 of his 22 wins coming by knockout, with seven decisions and one submission.
Njokuani looks forward to fighting at home, and spoke on the importance of having his people around him as he prepares to take on Duraev.

Duraev is also coming off a loss heading into the bout. He previously lost to Joaquin Buckley via doctor's stoppage. Before the Buckley fight, he was riding a 10-fight win streak.
Duraev is a strong grappler, standing at 5'11" with a reach of 75". His ground game is his biggest asset, with nine of his 15 wins coming by submission. With three KOs and as many decisions to his name, he is a well-rounded fighter who will certainly present issues to Njokuani on the feet.
Vera vs Sandhagen to headline UFC on ESPN, Njokuani vs Duraev to open the card
While Njokuani will face Duraev to open the card, Marlon 'Chito' Vera will take on Cory 'Sandman' Sandhagen in the main event. In what looks to be a title eliminator at bantamweight, the top-ranked 135 lbers will go head-to-head in what promises to be a treat for fans.
The rest of the card features some impressive fighters. Holly Holm looks to make a strong comeback as she takes on Yana Santos. Alex Perez faces Manel Kape in a fight of the night contender. The main card is as follows:
